This spell queue works fine, until you are also queuing spells that works with your next weapon swing (heroic strike and cleave. I have seen maybe 80 posts on this topic and not a single one has a satisfying resolution. For example, you can queue the next spell before the current spell finishes casting or if the next spell is in cooldown, you can queue it 400 ms before it completely cools down (this include GCD). It feels like the game just eats the cast. For all of you that want to manually change your SpellQue, here you go. the 2nd spell might be something totally different, if its the same you will use it on your currently selected target or. to cast the spell on whatever your cursor is pointing at. Particularly in the frost mage opener, Ill try to squeeze a frostbolt in between ice lances and it takes a full 500ms for the spell to begin casting. Yours wont do anything if the mouse has no valid target. Too low and youll see gaps between your abilities resulting in a lot of downtime. Only works for one spell/ability however, but it's still helpful. You can play around with it with this command: I would not set it any lower than your ping + 100. The best you can get to spell queueing in WoW without macros is the 'it's not a bug it's a feature' automatic queueing if you click a spell or ability about half a second before the current one finishes then it'll queue your spell and cast it as soon as it finishes the current one. This is a pretty classic issue with a high Spell Queue Window. Just in BFA, in the world zones, there is this occasional ability delay, very small, of a fraction of a second where pressing an ability key, once ever 5-7 abilities will have a small hitch or delay. I cant tell if Im going insane or not, but in the past week some casts in my spell queue feel like theyre stuck in the mud. Other classes dont lag as much in combat. No ability delay in PvP, even BFA dungeons, any other expansion. ![]() I have 20-30ms all the time, no exceptions. In BFA, only in BFA and only in the zones (not dungeons), there is an ability delay. I have been tracking this issue going back to September 2018.
